To be a friends with bears Just come here only with love for bears.

 

  There is a very important promise that we have to keep. Living with bears in the Globe and becoming friends with them, we have to believe, approach, take care of and love each other. I'm been here 8 years. When I arrived in Alaska, the local residents were afraid of bears and said to me "bears are dangerous." They never got into bear's territory and they believed that is a rule. But I didn't believe the rule and the people's advice. I believed bears than the wrong rule and moved into their domain. Over the last 8 years, I lived with them peacefully. And now, I have been a member and a friend of bears. AS a friend and a neighbor, I watched them, and have made a movie about, them and the environments they are living. Now, I realized why other people can't live with bears. They get into their territory with guns or arms to protect themselves. They didn't believe bears. It seemed a danger to bears. It was a wrong way to approach them. Basically, Bears were not dangerous but the people were dangerous to them. They just want to preserve themselves from threat. Don't threaten the bears. To be a friends with them Just come near them only with love for bears. It is a promise and a commitment to live with human beings and bears.
